Creier Roz — low-cost web agency, Romania

In short

€200 sites from templates I already owned. 436 conversations, 9 clients, in a market AI had already broken.

Goal

Learning B2B software constraints, and covering the cloud bills for my other products.

Strategy

Private psychology practices and small accounting firms, underserved even after AI made it possible to build a website in a few prompts. The direct competitors all ran the same model: ~€10/month template hosting, rented forever and never owned. So I sold the opposite: a one-time €200 site with a €60/year hosting fee, built on free infrastructure underneath. Six templates for each niche, basic integrations, delivered fast. Custom integrations & design package was x3 the base package.

Acquisition

List built from Google Maps and industry aggregators, then channel and tone split by age: younger audience on WhatsApp with an informal text style, older audience on email and formal.

Difficulties

Both age segments resisted, for opposite reasons. The younger audience objected on price even at a deliberately small fee, because they could assemble something themselves with other tools; what converted a few of them was the convenience, with hosting and maintenance handled. The older audience objected to change, and the argument that won some of them was visibility: younger clients search firms online and read the reviews first, so a website is a storefront.

Outcome

Pricing doesn't fix distribution. That was the lesson I learnt after 4 months of activity, and why I paused it. You can't win a saturated market by racing on price against established competitors who can outspend you on reach.
